The Grumpy Elf: Every since we started getting data from the upcoming mists expansion and things are getting datamined we have been seeing legendary pieces of… stuff. Many speculate that it is possible that these things are designed to be an upgrade system sort of like how they are changing valor from something that buys gear to something that upgrades gear.
The more we see the more it seems like the legendary update system might be right. It is possible that is what they are going to do being they have new legendary icons for all classes of weapon, except for polearms, bows and crossbows it seems.
