Caribald at The Hunter Soloist: The Beasts of Northrend consist of three encounters. First you are put against Gormok the Impaler, then Acidmaw & Dreadscale, and last Icehowl. They each have unique mechanics, which will be explained in detail. I will not list every mechanic this time, as I feel it’s better to just get into it with this fight.
Gormok the Impaler
Once you talk through the dialogue with the NPC at the entrance, the event for the encounter starts. Looking at the DBM timer, at about 14 seconds until “Combat starts” I prepot, start dismissing wolf doing the crit buff at the end of the dismiss cast, then get out the cat for str/agi buff and Call of the Wild, and then turtle with Misdirection, pre-Mend Pet and then I spam Hunter’s mark and auto attack until he becomes attackable. . . .
