The Ironman Challenge is an interesting cross-realm event where players see how far they can level without dying using a bare minimum of gear, no gear enhancements, no talents, no glyphs, no consumables, no professions, and no outside help. The event is not a competition but a personal challenge. However, not surprisingly, hunters are currently filling the top of the leaderboard.

it’s great fun, i’m up to lvl 22 so far, and really it’s not been a challenge yet, but a couple of times through stupidity it i’ve nearly bought it. It’s a lot of fun, and i think it can only get better!

His 85 screenshot is from Storm Peaks, so I think he might have stayed in Northrend after 80. (Cata a bit dangerous.)
