Hunter Changes: Mists of Panderia Patch 15640
Chaud at MMO Champion: A new beta patch went up tonight, and there are a lot of changes.

Hunter Baseline
- Arcane Shot now costs 22 Focus, down from 25 Focus.
- Concussive Shot has been returned to the game.
Hunter Talents
- Call Beast is now named Dire Beast.
- Powershot now deals 400% weapon damage plus 100% weapon damage to all enemies in between you and the target. Up from 100% weapon damage + 25% to all enemies.
- Silencing Shot now has a 40 yards range, up from 35 yards.
Hunters: Beast Mastery
- Go for the Throat has an additional effect: your Arcane Shot critical strikes reduce the Focus cost of your pet’s next Basic Attack by 100% for 12 sec.
- Kill Command base damage has been increased by 12.5%
Hunters: Marksmanship
- Aimed Shot now deals 160% ranged weapon damage, up from 90%. Additional damage increased by 100%.
- Chimera Shot now costs 44 Focus, down from 50% Focus.
- Rapid Recuperation no longer gives you Focus when you gain Rapid Killing.
Hunters: Survival
- Black Arrow now costs 35 Focus, is Instant, and has a 30 sec cooldown. Now shares a cooldown with other Fire Trap spells.
- Explosive Shot now costs 44 Focus, down from 50 Focus.
- Lock and Load now also procs from Explosive Trap.
- Serpent Spread *New* – Targets hit by your Multi-Shot are also afflicted by your Serpent Sting.
- Trap Mastery now also affects Black Arrow.
Hunter Glyphs
- Glyph of Distracting Shot – Your Distracting Shot now distracts the target to attack your pet instead of you.
- Glyph of No Escape no longer affects Ice Trap.
- Glyph of Arcane Shot has been removed
Hunter Pets
- Growl threat has been increased by 11%.
Hunter Tier 14 Set Bonuses
- Item – Hunter T14 2P Bonus Your Kill Command deals $1% additional damage, your Chimera Shot deals 15% additional damage, and your Explosive Shot deals 5% additional damage.
- Item – Hunter T14 4P Bonus Increases the duration of your Bestial Wrath ability by 6 sec, increases the chance for Black Arrow to trigger Lock and Load by 20%, and increases the ranged attack speed granted by Steady Focus by an additional 10%.
[Early reports of 12.5% increased base damage for a number of shots appears to have been a data-mining error and these shots have been removed from the list of changes.]

It is nice to see Bliz acknowledge that Hunters are not where they should be in terms of damage – however by nuking through the 85+ area on a premade hunter, it will be insanely easy in heroic Dragon Soul level gear.
Now all we need is widow venom added to arcane shot, and concussive brought back. Remove that glyph that will be a necessity for kiting/pvp.
Look at that, Conc shot is back and the glyph is gone :D
In looking at the WoWHead list of new items, increased Agility and Stamina are still not being added to our ranged weapons. Moreover, I’m not seeing this lost itemization from our melee weapon slot being made up in other equipment. Everyone keeps saying that this will be taken care of, but the proof doesn’t seem to be in the pudding.
