Wowhead News: Have you been anxiously awaiting pet battle news since BlizzCon’s unveil?
Well, wait no more. After going through our database, we’ve compiled a huge overview about pet battles. There are several classes of pets with their own abilities which we also datamined: Beast, Critter, Dragon, Elemental, Flying, Humanoid, Mystical/Magical, Mechanical, Undead, and Water.
We also went in game and tracked down all the current wild pets that are in the game with help from Warcraft Pets. In short, every zone in the Eastern Kingdoms has its own unique pets–there are even named ones and ones that only spawn under certain conditions. No other continent has any, but it’s likely they will be added in future beta patches.
