King Krush was at one time the hardest tame in the game. Early in Wrath, he hit like a truck and would randomly cast a fear that would break our casting. While the difficulty has gotten steadily easier since gear and stat levels have improved, it’s still not a horrible idea to come in with a plan (especially if you aren’t 85 yet).
King Krush is a Devilsaur, and as such comes with a 5% crit buff and a healing reduction debuff. This makes him more valuable than his buff companion, the Wolf (though only slightly so).
