Where the Wild Things Are in Patch 5.1 (10/11/12)
Caelan found the tracks for and Kalliope flared out the tenth rare beast of Pandaria, the silkworm Bombyx, who looks to be the most complicated tame of all the tracking tames to date.
Quivering reported that all paw-tracked beasts were leaving them correctly, then verified that the claw-track beasts were still backwards after Kalliope reported Hexapos’s backward tracks.
New Non-Pandarian Tameables in Patch 5.1 (10/12/12)
Caelan has organized all 100+ of the new rares of Azeroth into this thread. Full discovery credits are in the first post (entries without a discovery credit are Caelan‘s). A handful of completely new skins is among the incoming pets, including a yellow Outland wind serpent, an armored dragonhawk, a monkey with a fez, several previously unavailable ghostly pets, and at least three new hunched cats. The list is expected to grow to 155 before the patch’s release.
Arcane wyrms now tameable as… serpents! (10/14/12)
Wain found that arcane wyrms are flagged as tameable in patch 5.1. Three colors are available (white, purple, and the recently-added blue) with red as a possible addition for the future, as it was added to the game, though remains non-interactive.
