Obito asked for a listing of the least popular pet choices. A few different options surfaced, prompting a discussion of the least popular pets.
Silithid Colossus Sounds (9/23/12)
Kiingeh posted a method for blocking the constant sounds made by Silithid Colossus pets.
Rawr posted a method of using a quest item to turn any hunter pet into a ball of fire. This has since been hotfixed and all altered pets have been returned to their normal appearance. All other appearance buff pets remain unchanged.
New tameables, old beasts (9/28/12)
Wain posted a number of newly tameable old beasts. A few still require confirmation and two spawn larger than they should, Queen Silith and Duskwing.
Hunter Pet Buffs, Debuffs, and Utility Abilities in MoP (9/21/12)
Kalliope posted a video and two charts from it to help hunters manage their stables from a raiding perspective in Pandaria. One chart lists the most useful buffs and debuffs, while the other shows the minimal numbers of pets a hunter needs in order to cover all major buffs and debuffs as beast mastery, non-beast mastery, or swapping between BM and non-BM.
PetEmote Addon – New shiny things (9/18/12)
Jessibelle and Wykea reported getting lua errors from PetEmote when retalenting. Varethyn reported typos in spirit beast and beetle emotes and made some suggestions for warlock shivarras.
